L & K would like to welcome Elizabeth (Beth) Anderson to the team! She is our new Vice President and we are extremely thankful to have her as a fellow club member. We are looking forward to the wonderful work she will be doing with us as our small club continues to grow!
The Challenge of the Month is still going, so if you don't know what that is yet, head on over to this page here to read the rules and get involved! We encourage you to take part in this challenge, but it's not required.
We are already sending encouraging notes (Hugs) to several people. If you would like to participate let us know and we will give you the information you need. This is just one of the many outreach activities we are doing. If you know someone you would like us to send a Hug to, please let us know the following information: Name, address, email, and their situation.
The book that was chosen for June, was the book of John. Since this is a book in the Bible, each person enjoys reading it differently. So to make sure you get the most out of reading this book we are going to have a group discussion at the end of the month instead of doing it weekly like we would normal novels. There will be questions that we will discuss so be sure to have answers ready! Add some yourself if you would like, we would love to hear them. More information on this will be coming closer to the discussion date.
