July's Pick!

Now that July is right around the corner it's time to pick a new book!

The dedicated workers at the L&K Book Club have decided the next book for our club to read will be..



The Fault in our Stars

All of us here at the L&K Book Club is looking forward to reading this book together. We would love for you to join us, so make sure to find the book and read along with us! 

We will be posting discussion questions for chapters along with the dates after July 1. 

 **If you have seen this movie or read this book, please wait until the end of July to post comments about it, unless you are commenting on chapters we are currently reading. This is to keep from spoiling anyone's fun.** 

It's not too late for JUNE!

The end of June is quickly coming and that means things will be changing in our club! Let's see what will be going on...

The Challenge of the Month is still going, so if you don't know what that is yet, head on over to this page here to read the rules and get involved! We encourage you to take part in this challenge, but it's not required. This specific challenge will be ending soon, but a new one will be taking it's place. Be sure to check in July to see what the new challenge will be!

 Our  encouraging notes (Hugs) have already been sent to several people. If you would like to participate let us know and we will give you the information you need. This is just one of the many outreach activities we are doing. If you know someone you would like us to send a Hug to, please let us know the following information: Name, address, email, and their situation. 

The book that was chosen for June, was the book of John. If you haven't read it yet, that's ok! There is still a little time to start or finish the book before we discuss it on our page. Questions have been added to the Discussion Questions Page. Head on over to see what questions we will be talking about! Feel free to add some of your own if you have any, and remember to have fun!! 

The title for our next book will be coming shortly! We are excited to have another book for July and can't wait to let you know what it will be. All information about this will be posted soon!

June Update!

We are already at the halfway point of June, so now would be a good time to update everyone on what has been going on in the L & K Book Club!

L & K would like to welcome Elizabeth (Beth) Anderson to the team! She is our new Vice President and we are extremely thankful to have her as a fellow club member. We are looking forward to the wonderful work she will be doing with us as our small club continues to grow!

The book that was chosen for June, was the book of John. Since this is a book in the Bible, each person enjoys reading it differently. So to make sure you get the most out of reading this book we are going to have a group discussion at the end of the month instead of doing it weekly like we would normal novels. There will be questions that we will discuss so be sure to have answers ready! Add some yourself if you would like, we would love to hear them. More information on this will be coming closer to the discussion date.
